Wood finish - steering wheel

Hazel having spent several busy hours removing generations of gunky varnish from our teak steering wheel, it is now bare teak and looks great.

We are reflecting on what best to coat it with - regular doses of linseed oil, deks olje, shellac..... or yacht varnish again.

What do people think?
