Hi guys n gals.
I have been thinking of leaving in the spring and heading off somewhere nice (solo). This means if I need the head in the night I have to get up and go up and down through the cockpit to get to the heads. I don't want to convert the table into a berth so I am considering changing the aft cabin to a day cabin with galley and seating and making the main cabin a day cabin with bed, nav station (near the heads).
I'd be interested in your comments.
Oh and thanks for having me ?

Each to their own, but seems like a lot of work for little gain.
And that galley in the aft cabin with no head room would drive me bananas!
If you are going to be sleeping in the main cabin anyway, why not simply leave things as they are? And use the aft cabin as a walk in locker / storage? Or if sleeping in the aft cabin simply add a portapotti in the aft cabin or cockpit?

Hi
I sail solo most of the time and I always sleep in the main cabin. Near the heads, near the instruments, grate if you want a drink and very cosy. Leave the aft cabin to guests if you ever have any!
