Taking Salia out for the winter this year for the first time since we've owned her - all those little jobs have finally caught up on me! Masts down today and no big surprises, just to be rewired and new light fittings. Engine out tomorrow to redo fuel pipes (port side blocked for the last 2 seasons!), resite filter, refurb water pump and replace cockpit drain skin fittings etc. boat out Friday.
First question: I have taken off all the running rigging and bought the bottle screws home, the main has the original bronze ones which still seem serviceable. What will clean them up nicely.

Re: Winter jobs
In my opinion keroseine is the best. Failing which some white spirit or turpetine. If not then some petrol or deisel. WD 40 is expensive.
