Some external pictures of Spinner following her recent refit have just been uploaded to the 'Gallery'. She looks gorgeous, any information and comments very welcome. Has she been painted?

Re: Spinner
Hi Graham
Thank you. She has been painted using Awlgrip. All the brightwork wa done at the same time as was the job of new gel coat on the coachroof and aft cabin roof. All of this was carried out at Baltic Wharf in Totnes in their tempetaure controlled paint shop last in August and September. The bottom was lightly grit blasted and any (small) blisters opened up and filled then the bottom was epoxy coated as can be seen in the pictures.
I also fitted a new mizzen mast as the original had very badly corroded at the jumper strut. This was supplied by Seldon and was the only real option as the others I considered were too wide for the tabernackle. Also replaced all the standing and running rigging
I also took the engine out, replaced the deck drains, cleaned the fuel tanks etc.....
Removed and refurbished the rudder top fitting.
Also gave the interior a complete makeover but carefully kept everything as original as possible.
Best Regards
Russell

Re: Spinner
Hi Russel
She looks brilliant, the decks on my Nab (Easy Go ) are in need of some attention, they are just like the Seadog and have become pitted in places. Did you have the entire decks recoated with Gelcoat?

Re: Spinner
Hi Eric
The coachroof and aft cabin top have been done but the deck is still covered in treadmaster which is worn but looks alright. The re gelcoat was done at Baltic Wharf yard who I reccomend and it cost me £1000 which I think is reasonable because the job made it look great. Before it was done, there was quite a lot of crazing on there so this is all covered up
Best regards
