Temperature Guage

Unfortunately the wire connections fell off the back of the instrument !

There are three terminals one I assume is the 12Volt feed from the ignition switch, another must go to the sensor on the engine block, and the third ?.

My question is does anyone know the connection for the three terminals, numbering them (from the left ) as 1 2 & 3 as the instrument does not appear to have ant marking on the back,

Thanks - Phil

Re: Temperature Guage

Hi Phill

In some cases the instruments fitted were actually automotive units, these sometimes had an over temperature alarm contact which operated from a third pin. You can normaly recognise these because the needle can be seen to reach a contact on the face of the gauge.
