Sea Cocks

Hi All
looking for some advice about the risk of kushka's sea cocks freezing,it's been around 10%c.at night here in clarkston,a bit lower perhaps 30 miles north at rhu where kushka is berthed,any opinions.Thanks.Ronnie.

Hi,

I think if the boat is in the water and it hasn't frozen you should be ok, as the sea is one vast heatsink and should be warmer than the surrounding air. Talking to someone about this, he reckoned his boat was better off in the water in this kind of weather.
