Engines

Just a thought, if you have your engine out, or are renewing an engine. At this stage it is very easy to replace the single pulley on the front of the engine with a double pulley, and worth doing for the little it costs. Of late a number of people have said that they would like to fit either a second alternator or a high output unit but lack of a suitable drive stops them doing so. I did this to Taliesin back in (1994 I think) and fitted a belt driven water pump above the alternator with much better access than the standard unit, I then carried a complete spare pump which I could change in less than 10 minutes.
